Not to be forgotten, the historic location was named for Peter Puget—of Puget Sound fame—by Captain Vancouver when they scouted the Northwest together. First settled in 1908, the original owners used the land to establish a daffodil farm. In 1968, the second and current owners took over—and with only two previous owners you can be sure this land is in superb condition.

Vashon Island

Vashon Island: Quirky? Yes. Magical? Absolutely! Stop Lights? Zero. Vashon is truly a little slice of heaven with a marina, nine-hole golf course, small airport, top-notch schools, and fantastic community-based Center for the Arts. It’s hard to find a spirit of place that feels a million miles away from it all, yet is just a 20-minute passenger ferry to downtown Seattle with a real change of pace from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
